Martin Watt

Martin founded Thyme Accountants with the belief that small businesses deserve the same proactive, strategic advice that larger firms take for granted — without the inflated fees.

Over his career he has worked with everything from solo contractors taking their first steps into limited company territory, to established SMEs navigating growth, tax planning and succession. His focus is on cutting through the jargon and making sure clients actually understand their numbers.

Outside of work, Martin is an advocate for fair pricing in the profession and spends most of his spare time on the road between the firm's Aberdeen and Shetland offices.
